Who is jeopardized by the state comptroller’s report?!

Will publishing a list of the failures of Israel’s Police, the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Jerusalem Municipality, and the Ministry of Justice endanger Israel? Perhaps it will be just the opposite!  There is no doubt that the state authorities responsible for the management of the Temple Mount are those most likely to suffer from the publicity, but it is clear that they must answer for their weakness and failure in fulfilling their roles.  This is for all of our sake!

The decision to publish just the introduction and part of the summary of the report makes the fundamental work of the state comptroller pointless because there is no value to criticism that is not heard!

The state comptroller declared that “the preservation of the Temple Mount antiquities and the prevention of their destruction is a public task of the highest degree.” The question is thus, why has he not published the full report so as to allow this important task to be fulfilled?

The Temple Mount Antiquities Rescue Committee is demanding that the state comptroller’s report be published in full so as to prevent the ongoing destruction of the antiquities at the most important site in Israel.
